The Instrumentation and Measurement (IM) Italy Chapter, the IEEE Sensor Council and the IEEE Student Branch of Naples, in cooperation with IEEE Student Branch of Brescia and of Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, are proud to announce the MetroInd4.0&IoT 2019 IEEE Student Hackathon, which will be held during the 2019 IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for Industry 4.0 & IoT (MetroInd4.0&IoT), Naples, Italy, June 4-6, 2019.

The Workshop aims to discuss the contributions of both the metrology for the development of Industry 4.0 and IoT and the new opportunities offered by Industry 4.0 and IoT for the development of new measurement methods and apparatus. Attention is paid, but not limited to, new technology for metrology-assisted production in Industry 4.0 and IoT, Industry 4.0 and IoT component measurement, sensors and associated signal conditioning for Industry 4.0 and IoT, and calibration methods for electronic test and measurement for Industry 4.0 and IoT.

Hackathon contests have been held in recent years with great success, prompting youngsters to put all of their knowledge, combined with creativity, to respond to the market challenges and needs.
