SHORT DESCRIPTION
Three days of intensive sessions featuring lectures, hands-on workshops, and practical activities focused on wearable sensor technologies, including signal processing and data analysis methods, and AI-based approaches, along with their applications in clinical rehabilitation, sports medicine, and onco-hematology care.
WHO IT IS FOR
The Summer School is open to Bachelor's and Master's students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, biomedical engineers, clinicians, physiotherapists, athletic trainers, and professionals interested in wearable technologies and their applications in research and clinical practice.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Each day will begin with a Morning Plenary Session, offering an overview of the key technologies, data-analysis methods, and algorithms used in the development of wearable sensors, along with their applications across different areas of medicine.
In the afternoon, participants will join one of the four Thematic Tracks, each featuring focused lectures:
- Track 1 – Technologies, Data Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence for Wearable Sensors: explores sensor technologies, signal-processing techniques, and AI-based methods applied to data collected with wearable sensors in human healthcare and well-being.
- Track 2 – Advances in Orthopaedic Clinical Rehabilitation Using Wearable Sensors: explores how wearable sensors can enhance clinical rehabilitation in orthopaedics by providing objective measurements, supporting clinical decision-making, and guiding personalized rehabilitation strategies.
- Track 3 – Innovations in Sports Medicine Supported by Wearable Sensors: examines sports-medicine practices that can be supported by wearable sensors.
- Track 4 – Onco-Hematology Care Through Wearable Sensors: presents how wearable sensors can help clinicians improve monitoring and patient management in onco-hematology care.
